Job Title: Marketing Intern (Unpaid to start)
Company Overview: At Bulkk, we’re committed to reducing waste and optimizing cash flow by connecting businesses that need to buy and sell used office furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). As a marketing intern, you’ll play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission by focusing on PR, content marketing, email marketing, and social media presence.
Role Overview: As a marketing intern at Bulkk, you will help tell the Bulkk story and position Bulk as a world-class sustainability e-commerce platform. Some of the value propositions for Bulkk are:
- Buyers save money on sub-wholesale inventory (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
- Buyers are keeping FF&E out of landfills, which is a growing problem
- Buyers have a much lower carbon footprint when using Bulkk
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing PR campaigns to generate media coverage and increase brand awareness
- Creating high-quality content, including blog posts, case studies, and infographics, to engage with the Bulkk audience and promote the Bulkk brand
- Designing and implementing email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions
- Managing and growing our social media presence across multiple channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Analyzing and reporting on marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and identify areas for improvement
*note: we will likely break these responsibilities out into separate roles as the company scales up.
Requirements:
- Interest in sustainability and entrepreneurship is a must
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Familiarity with marketing tools and techniques, such as SEO, content marketing, and social media management
